About us:

HEN Nozzles Inc. has developed the world’s first Adjustable SmoothBore Nozzle.
This unique design was created with the use of computational fluid dynamics. The patented HEN Nozzle allows for a solid SmoothBore stream to be adjusted from its typical tight solid pattern to a more “blade” like wider pattern. Both patterns have large SmoothBore droplets because both patterns are solid streams. The wider blade pattern gives the firefighter the ability to cover more area with less movement of the nozzle. By increasing the efficiency of fire suppression HEN is able to reduce the amount of water needed as well as the amount of work needed by the firefighter. The pattern change does not affect the flow rate as all HEN Nozzles operate at a constant gallonage. The HEN nozzles come in a variety of tip sizes from 35gpm to 265gpm. At HEN we are determined to make the firefighters’ difficult job of fire suppression less complicated and more efficient. By doing this, we believe that we have given the modern firefighter a better tool to use in the ever-changing world of firefighting.
